Everybody Needs Art Viewing Space, Budapest
The monosyllabic word- or affix- used in the title conveys some kind of anteriority, more precisely it propels us in time, indicating the coming of something, its apparition in the future.
However it does so in both ways- forwards and backwards, in the past and in the future- when defining prae/pre/ prê. It can be considered as an antecedent, while also allowing any reference to a previous work. It is no reflexion, no illustration or visualisation of a text published seventy five years ago (J-P Sartre: “Being and Nothingness”) – despite the distance in time, or physical distances the event embraces these parallelism. There is no before- after hierarchy, nor is there any prerequisite due to a historical distance and background. Nonetheless there are interrelations: a community.
